The St. Petersburg Bicycle Club respects the privacy of its members and website visitors. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information provided through our website, membership system, and communications services.

Information We Collect

We may collect information that members and website visitors voluntarily provide to us, including name, email address, mailing address, telephone or mobile phone number, membership information, and information related to participation in club rides, events, and activities.

How We Use Information

We may use personal information to administer memberships, communicate with members, organize club rides and events, provide requested services, operate the club's website and membership systems, and send club-related announcements and notifications.

SMS/Text Messaging

Members may voluntarily opt in to receive text messages from the St. Petersburg Bicycle Club. Messages may include club announcements, ride updates, changes to ride times or locations, cancellations, safety information, and other time-sensitive club information.

Members opt in through their member account by providing or confirming their mobile phone number and selecting the "Enable club texts" option. The option is not pre-selected, and participation in the text messaging program is voluntary.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Members may opt out at any time by replying STOP to a text message or by disabling club texts in their member account settings. Members may reply HELP for assistance.

SMS Privacy

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Mobile information and SMS consent information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

We may use service providers as necessary to operate our website, membership system, and communications services, including providers that deliver text messages on our behalf. Information is provided to such service providers only as necessary to provide those services.
